Dissolution NG USA - Letter to donors
As we write this letter, our hearts are filled first and foremost with gratitude.
Over the years, so many of you have walked alongside Nehemiah Gateway USA with incredible generosity, trust, prayer, and friendship. Some of you have been with us for many years, faithfully giving month after month or year after year. Others have supported a specific child, family, project, or need that touched your heart. Every gift, every prayer, every encouraging message, and every act of support has meant more than we can express.
Today, we want to share an important update with you.
After careful consideration, the Board of NG USA has made the decision to dissolve the U.S. office, effective September 30, 2026. Looking toward the future and considering how best to support the work in Albania for the years ahead, we believe that simplifying our organizational structure will help minimize administrative costs while allowing the focus to remain where it has always been: on the projects and the people we serve.
All donations received by September 25, 2026, will be forwarded to the respective projects for which they were given. After September 25, NG USA will no longer be able to accept or process any donations.
But there is one thing we especially want you to know:
The work in Nehemiah Gateway Albania continues.
The closing of NG USA does not mean the closing of the projects you have faithfully supported.
Children will continue going to school and receiving after-school tutoring, meals, and a safe place to learn and grow. Young people will continue receiving educational opportunities and prepare for their future. Families struggling to make ends meet will continue receiving food, heating supplies, medical assistance, and other practical help. Children and adults with disabilities will continue receiving specialized care and opportunities to learn, participate, and grow. And the local teams will continue doing what they have done faithfully for so many years: being there for people when they need it most.
When we look back at all these years, there is so much to be grateful for.
Because of your support, children who may otherwise have struggled to stay in school have received an education, warm meals, tutoring, school supplies, and a safe place to spend their days. Young people have been able to pursue a university education and take steps toward a future they once may not have thought possible.
Families going through difficult times have received food on their tables, warmth during the winter, and help with medical and other urgent needs. Children and adults with disabilities, together with their families, have found care, support, activities, and a community where they are welcomed and valued.
Behind all of this are real people and real stories - a child who was given the opportunity to learn, a student able to pursue a dream, a parent receiving help during a difficult season, or a family knowing that they were not alone.
You have been part of those stories, and we are deeply grateful.
We cannot thank you enough for the trust you have placed in NG USA over all these years. Thank you for believing in these projects and in the people behind them. Thank you for caring about children and families who may live thousands of miles away, and for choosing to make a difference in their lives.
Although the chapter of NG USA is coming to an end, we sincerely hope that your connection with the work in Albania will continue.

As we close this chapter, there is naturally some sadness, but above all, there is gratitude for everything we have been able to accomplish together and hope for everything that lies ahead.
From all of us at Nehemiah Gateway USA, thank you for your generosity, your trust, your friendship, and for standing with us over the years. It has been a privilege to have you alongside us on this journey.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Michelle Mann
